Well then, I'm pretty lonely around here, but that isn't a excuse not to post!
So I've started a thread to post pells on!
I'll start with something simple, that will require a lot of writing!
Basic Tarot:
When you buy a tarot deck, you should have already had a look through the cards first. It should suit what you believe (mine is a celtic tarot deck and my sister has a Merlin Deck... which is very complicated!).
Keep your deck next to your bed or your altar, kept in a silk cover to maintain its' power.
Most Tarot decks come with a book (if they've got arcana) and it's good to read them through and learn some of the basic meanings to make it easier to read the cards. When you've bought your deck, look through the cards and spend a few minutes staring at them.
A basic technique for using them is to ask a question and pick the appropriate amount of cards for your answer. (It is that simple since it's easy to personalise because so many people have different beliefs and rituals.) If more than one are choosed, don't turned them "the right way round" if they turn out to be upside down, since this is called "ill-dignified" which means it has a different meaning to if it was the right way up, you don' want to gt the wrong meaning. Also, if you pick more than one you should keep them in the same order you picked them, that means your answer is more accurate.
I used it this morning.
I asked the cards, "what kind of person will the next stranger I meet be?". I chose three cards and this is what I got:
This person has suffered a recent loss that has left them bitter.
Their hopes have been falsely raised and now a hopeless situation keeps them back.
nemies have set themselves against this person, leaving sadness in his/her life...
It's great, isn't it? (Looks like everyone's right, The only thing I can ever be is a councellor!)
Soo... Add any spells you know to this thread!
