OK, I haven't been on that often but I assure you I've been doing lots of research just to "hybi'r hyd yn y fforwm yma" (to encourage the magic in this forum... sorry, but it sounds really good in welsh so I HAD to say it! XD I'm only human!).
Right then, people like herbs. Herbs are a major theme in any books, films, series... (That next to funny incantations that no one's bothered to work out what they mean ("A pear is a chair is a stare is a lair of a big fat pomegranate with no hair!""P.S. I would like to speak to my dead grandmother, please... Thanks!") and the good old Satan(or LCF)!)
Welll... everyone should add posts on herbs and their experiences with herbs.
I'll write a little:
A psychic/divine herb: Bay Laural.
Delphic pythonesses used to deliver their prophecies with bay leaves clenched in their teeth.
Bay is also believed to protect against rape, since the Delphic pythoness Dafne turned into a bay tree to escape Apollo. To protect yourself using bay-
They are also used to induce psychic dreams or to catalyze or encourage them: Place some under your pillow, attached to a dream catcher or generally around your sleeping area before going to sleep.
Bay is also a good herb to dry- On a big plant, it is easy to cut a branch from it (when it's tall) and hang it from a line, indoors, or to take smaller twigs with leaves on them and hang them in bunches. It's good to hang them over a fireplace, but safe distance away from flames.
Bay is used in many recipes, especially Greek recipes. It provides a lot of flavor and a nice scent.
Moths, however, hate the smell. So, hanging bay on the line with drying clothes will stop the clothes from getting eaten (Not that they would often, since they usually come out at night and hanging clothes out at night is bad luck "clothes that moonlight shines upon are clothes warn at a funeral"- implying death to someone close).
Welll... I think that's a good amount, don't you?

- Plant a bay bush in your front garden- a portal into your house, any one who wishes to come in will have to pass it.
- Carry some around with you.
- Put a leaf in the corner of every room.
